Faavo Market Place Ecosystem — Privacy Policy Last Updated: September 2025

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to all applications and services under the Faavo Market Place Ecosystem, including:
- Faavo (Customer App) – ordering and browsing services
- CenterPoint (Restaurant & Café Ordering App) – branded ordering app powered by the Faavo platform
- G POS / Faavo POS – vendor point-of-sale system
- G Vendor – vendor management tools
- G Pilot – delivery driver application
CenterPoint is a branded ordering application operated under the Faavo Ecosystem. It is powered by the same platform infrastructure, data practices, and security standards that govern all Faavo apps.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with Google Play Developer Program Policies, App Store Review Guidelines, and all applicable data protection laws.
2. Account Creation & Management
Customers (Faavo & CenterPoint) Customers can self-register directly in the app. During registration, customers provide details such as name, phone number, and delivery address.
Vendors & Businesses Vendor accounts cannot be created directly within the apps. Vendor accounts are created and verified by Faavo staff administrators to ensure business legitimacy, compliance, and secure integration.
Drivers (G Pilot) Driver accounts are created exclusively by Faavo staff during onboarding. Drivers cannot self-register within the app.
3. Account & Data Deletion
In-App Delete Button (Customers — Faavo & CenterPoint) Available in the app under account settings. When tapped, accounts and associated personal data are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours.
Email Request (Vendors & Drivers) Vendors and drivers may request deletion by emailing delete@faavo.co.ke. Requests are processed within 7 business days.
4. Information We Collect
General Device & App Data (all users):
- Device type, operating system, app version
- Crash logs, diagnostics, and performance analytics
- Push notification tokens
Customers (Faavo & CenterPoint):
- Name, phone number, delivery address
- Order history and preferences
- Mobile payment metadata (not full payment info)
Vendors (G POS / G Vendor):
- Business profile and contact details
- Product listings and pricing
- Transactional and operational data
Drivers (G Pilot):
- Driver ID and task assignments
- Location data (only during active deliveries)
- Delivery performance and completion logs
5. Mobile Payments
When you pay through mobile wallets (e.g., M-PESA, Paybill, or other integrations), we collect:
- Payment reference IDs
- Transaction amount, time, and status
- Associated order and vendor metadata
We never store full card numbers, PINs, or wallet credentials. Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers.
6. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Provide orders, deliveries, and vendor operations
- Process secure mobile payments
- Send order status updates and service notifications
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve user experience
7. Location Access
G Pilot (Drivers): The G Pilot app requests location permissions during active deliveries to assign and track delivery tasks, show real-time tracking to customers and vendors, and optimise delivery routes. Location is not tracked in the background when drivers are not on active deliveries.
Faavo & CenterPoint (Customers): The apps may request location access to auto-fill delivery addresses and suggest nearby restaurants. This permission is optional and can be denied.
8. Tracking & Third-Party SDKs
Faavo, CenterPoint, G POS, G Vendor, and G Pilot do not track users across third-party apps or websites.
Our apps do not use the AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) framework, the Facebook SDK, or any cross-app advertising or analytics SDKs. All third-party dependencies are limited to core operational services only. App Privacy declarations on both the App Store and Google Play have been updated to reflect this accurately. No data is shared with advertising networks.
9. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell personal data. Limited data may be shared with:
- Hosting providers (e.g., Google Cloud, Firebase)
- Payment processors (e.g., M-PESA integrations)
- Analytics and crash reporting tools (e.g., Google Crashlytics)
All third parties follow strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.
10. Data Security & Retention
We implement strong security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, role-based access permissions, and authentication and audit logging.
Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal obligations. When accounts are deleted, personal data is permanently removed — except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).
11. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for individuals 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.
12. Your Rights
You can:
- Access and review your personal data
- Request corrections to inaccurate information
- Delete your account and data at any time

13. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via app updates, in-app notifications, or our official website. Continued use of our apps after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
